Epson SureColor F170 Software Installation Guide

- To download the Epson SureColor F170 printer driver. Go to https://epson.com/Support/Printers/Single-Function-Inkjet-Printers/SureColor-Series/Epson-SureColor-F170/s/SPT_C11CJ80201
- In the “Download” tab you will find a dropdown menu for operating systems, select your computers operating system, and click on the blue “Go” box.
- Expand the “Drivers” section by clicking on the “+” sign.
- Download Drivers and Utilities Combo Package
- File name is SCF170_Combo_AM.ex
- After the software is done downloading, click on it to start the installation.
- Select your language.
7. The software license agreement will come up, please click “Accept to proceed with the installation.
8. Software Select, make sure both Epson Drivers and Utilities and Epson User’s Guide Link are checked, click “Install” to proceed.
9. Printer Setup. Make sure your printer is turned on. If you haven't already unboxed your printer it's recommended to watch the Epson SureColor F170 Unboxing video here: https://youtu.be/SY-pV8r-M_Y?si=lRgGaDsLhU-x4O_V After you have verified your printer is on, click “Next” to proceed.
10. Confirm the ink is charged, this process takes an est. 14 minutes and is also covered in the Epson SureColor F170 unboxing video. Click on the box indicating that the ink charge is completed, then click “Next” to proceed.
11. Printer Connection. Epson recommends connecting via Wireless (WiFi) connect, if you prefer USB please note that the Epson SureColor F170 does not come with a USB cable, you will need to purchase that separately. Select your method of connection and click “Next” to proceed.
12. WiFi Auto Connect. Click “Next” to proceed.
13. WiFi Connection. Follow the steps on the screen to connect your printer to WiFi.
14. Setup Summary. Once the Printer finds your WiFi network or connects successfully via USB or Ethernet, you will be prompted to click “Finish.”
*Recommended to check for firmware update from printer settings.
*Recommended to run a test print via your design software to ensure that printer is fully connected.
