Setting up the custom paper size on your Mac is simple once you do it. The way to get to the screen to make them may vary a little depending on the software you are using. Here are the steps to get to the customer paper size set up for Illustrator and Photo Shop.

 

Illustrator – File, Print, once the printer settings come up choose the Epson SC-500 printer

            Click on “Page Setup” on the bottom of the right side of the window

Where is say “Paper Size” click on that and choose “Manage Custom Sizes”

Press the “+” at the bottom to give you a new “Untitled” page

Change the name to match the size you want to print

Then change the Paper Size on the right side to match the Title for the paper size

            Adjust the top, left, right, and bottom margins if you want (I set them all to 0)

Then press “OK”

Your “Paper Size” should not be changed to the size you just made

If you click on the “Paper Size” to see all the paper size options, your new customer size will be above “Manage Custom Sizes”

Photo Shop – File, Print, once the printer setting come up choose the Epson SC-500 printer

Click on printer Settings

Where is say “Paper Size” click on that and choose “Manage Custom Sizes”

Press the “+” at the bottom to give you a new “Untitled” page

Change the name to match the size you want to print

Then change the Paper Size on the right side to match the Title for the paper size

            Adjust the top, left, right, and bottom margins if you want (I set them all to 0)

Then press “OK”

Your “Paper Size” should not be changed to the size you just made

If you click on the “Paper Size” to see all the paper size options, your new customer size will be above “Manage Custom Sizes”

Preview (opening a file straight from Desk Top) – File, Print, Choose the Epson SC-F500 printer

            Click “Show Details” below the image preview

Where is say “Paper Size” click on that and choose “Manage Custom Sizes”

Press the “+” at the bottom to give you a new “Untitled” page

Change the name to match the size you want to print

Then change the Paper Size on the right side to match the Title for the paper size

            Adjust the top, left, right, and bottom margins if you want (I set them all to 0)

Then press “OK”

Your “Paper Size” should not be changed to the size you just made

If you click on the “Paper Size” to see all the paper size options, your new customer size will be above “Manage Custom Sizes”

 

As you create more customer paper sizes, they will all show above the “Manage Custom Sizes” and they go to all the different software’s. You do not have to make them for each individual software’s you may print from.
